Take what you can, give nothing back
It is with a little sense of mischief that Montegrappa presents the Pirates, those swashbuckling adventurers who terrorised the Caribbean during the 16th through to the 19th centuries. Offered as piston-fed fountain and rollerball pens, this impressive masterpiece collection is made in Charcoal Black celluloid with Sterling Silver or solid 18k Gold overlays, embellished with an array of symbols that have defined the buccaneer for centuries. The limitation number recalls the nearly 400 tons of gold treasure that William Kidd, one of the most famous of all the pirates, is believed to have buried in various spots around the globe.
Montegrappa was founded as a “Manifattura pennini d’oro e penne stilografiche” (“Manufacturer of gold nibs and fountain pens”) in Bassano del Grappa, Italy. Originally known as ELMO, benefitted from a pool of local talents, a workforce able to produce finely crafted objects, with style, with panache and with a drive to achieve excellence.
