SURFACE CLEANING

To remove stains and finger prints, please wipe the surface with a soft damp cloth.
Do not use detergents or chemical products which could damage the pen's materials.

FOUNTAIN PEN MAINTENANCE
 1   PISTON DRIVEN FOUNTAIN PENS
Piston driven fountain pens have an ink reservoir within the barrel.
1. Twist the end cap anticlockwise until it stops.
2. Dip the entire nib into the ink bottle.
3. To draw the ink into the pen, twist the end cap clockwise.
4. Twist end cap anticlockwise half way, letting a little ink drop so that air can be expelled from the reservoir.
5. Clean nib with an absorbant cloth.
 2   CONVERTER FOUNTAIN PENS
1. Unscrew the pen section.
2. Insert the converter in section entrance.
3. Dip the whole nib into the ink bottle.
4. To draw the ink into the pen, twist the filling knob clockwise.
5. Twist the filling knob anticlockwise half way, letting a little ink drop so that air can be expelled.
6. Screw the pen section back into the barrel.
7. Wipe clean the nib with an absorbant cloth.

Privilege and Classica fountain pens permit you to reach the converter through the end cap.
To fill these pens:
1. Unscrew end cap in an anticlockwise direction.
2. Dip the whole nib into the ink bottle.
3. To draw the ink into the pen, twist the filling knob clockwise.
4. Twist the filling knob anticlockwise half way, letting a little ink drop so that air can be expelled.
5. Screw the pen section back on clockwise.
6. Wipe clean the nib with an absorbant cloth.
 3   CARTRIDGE FOUNTAIN PENS
1. Unscrew the pen section.
2. Insert cartridge until it punctures the protection seal.
3. Gently squeeze the cartridge so ink drops out.
4. Screw the section back into the barrel.
5. Clean nib with an absorbant cloth.
